Job Summary

Diagnose and resolve issues on commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, hydronic systems, and VRF units, while performing preventative maintenance and fine-tuning performance for data centers. Build strong client relationships by addressing service concerns and delivering clear communication, then coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient scheduling and complete service reports accurately. Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergency support and serve as a resource for junior technicians during ongoing technical training. Travel nationwide to handle mission-critical projects, with local regional support when not on the road. Requires a valid driver's license, EPA Universal Certification, and physical capability to lift up to 100 pounds in various field conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Own vehicle
  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various field conditions, including rooftops and tight spaces
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
  • Clear and effective communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
  • Capability to review their work for accuracy and making necessary adjustments in the field
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions and varying environments, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and active construction sites
  • Ability to work in noise levels ranging from low to high

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with systems such as chillers, hydronic systems, VRF, RTUs, packaged equipment or mission-critical cooling systems
