Job Summary

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize complex commercial HVAC systems for data centers and regional clients. Perform preventative maintenance, execute emergency after-hours support via on-call rotation, and manage service reports and work orders accurately. Build strong client relationships through clear communication and deliver high-quality technical solutions while adhering to strict safety and OSHA compliance standards. Requires your own vehicle and 5+ years of experience with chillers, VRF, and mission-critical cooling. Nationwide travel is mandatory, with extensive on-the-job training provided.

Required Qualifications

  • Own vehicle
  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working in various field conditions, including rooftops and tight spaces
  • Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
  • Clear and effective communication with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
  • Capability to review their work for accuracy and make necessary adjustments in the field
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions and varying environments, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and active construction sites
  • Ability to work in noise levels ranging from low to high

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with chillers, hydronic systems, VRF, RTUs, packaged equipment or mission-critical cooling systems
  • OEM-specific training or certifications
  • Skilled in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and interpreting service manuals and schematics
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional, team-focused mindset
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow through on complex service tasks
  • Ability to respond well to changing job demands and field conditions
  • Active participation in training and embracing new tools, technologies, and methods to stay current in the trade
