Job Summary
Bodyguard Russian Translator for an overseas U.S. Embassy assignment in Moscow. Role combines close protection with Russian-language support in a high-security, diplomatic environment; responsibilities include protecting senior personnel, supporting movement operations, conducting advance preparations, operating armored and unarmored vehicles, and preparing written reports. Requires active Top-Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, a valid U.S. driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and minimum 3 years of relevant experience including 1 year of close protection. Work schedule features 12-hour shifts with 60+ hours/week and potential overtime; compensation is provided at Moscow rate with housing and R&R provisions.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top-Secret clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record in past 3 years
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Minimum one (1) year of close protection experience
- Experience operating armored and unarmored vehicles
- S3/R3 Russian language proficiency
- Strong written communication and reporting skills
