Job Summary
Missing Bill Research Clerk role focuses on investigating missing waste bills by reviewing payment histories, contacting vendors to obtain copies of bills, and ensuring proper application of payments. Responsibilities include monitoring emails for invoices, resolving open issues, negotiating date extensions and removal of late fees, preparing written communications to vendors, maintaining vendor credential logs, coordinating with vendors/clients/third parties to resolve billing discrepancies, organizing daily work in internal platforms and PowerBI reports, maintaining accurate time sheets and procedures, and conducting related research on termination notices as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of telephone experience in customer service or collection role
- General knowledge of billing processes
- Ability to occasionally work in office when requested
