Job Summary
Guide the development of MWTD and NDS capabilities, define analytic problems and tasks, and lead the design of next-generation space architectures. Collaborate with government leaders and interagency partners to craft high-level requirements and concepts for future MWTD and NDS force design, and communicate findings to senior Aerospace and government leadership to influence national security strategy. Lead analytical efforts, develop analytic plans, identify critical tasks, and guide studies to shape future space warfighting across space and ground-based operations. Coordinate with Space Systems Command, SDA, MDA, US Space Command, and other Combatant Commands; contribute to decisions that impact defense space missions; work in a fast-paced environment at the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in engineering, science, mathematics, or related technical field; Master’s or PhD preferred; 8+ years of relevant experience in space sensing systems development and acquisition; Familiarity with MBSE and defense-related modeling tools; TS clearance with eligibility for SCI/SAP/SAR; willingness to travel ~20%.
