Job Summary
Conduct systems engineering to decompose requirements into architecture, interfaces, and design behaviors for missile tracking systems. Perform pre-planned or ad-hoc scheduling and situational awareness of satellites and payloads to track missiles. Analyze and fuse missile tracking data from satellites for rapid processing and dissemination. Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation. Manage development, integration, testing, maintenance, and site support for ground operational systems within the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. Requires TOP SECRET clearance, Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, and 5+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
- 5+ years of job-related experience
- Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
- Department of Defense TOP SECRET security clearance
- Ability to obtain a TOP SECRET with Polygraph eligibility
- U.S. citizenship
- U.S. Government security investigation eligibility
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Agile experience
Desired Qualifications
- Recent experience with missile tracking systems design and architecture
- Recent experience with sensor fusion techniques
- Recent experience designing logic, assessing and scheduling satellite services to track missiles
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
- Experience with image processing (collection, handling, storing, and analysis)
