Job Summary
Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and reporting on missile production ecosystems, supply chains, and industrial capabilities for Department of War programs. Develop detailed written products, including memos, reports, and briefings, to inform senior leader decision-making on capability gaps, production constraints, and vendor dependencies. Engage with government program offices and industry partners to collect, validate data, and support modeling of production chains and timelines. Assist with program planning, risk assessments, and strategic options analysis while traveling up to 20% to government sites and industrial facilities. Provide data-driven insights to enable the delivery and sustainment of secure, resilient capabilities to the warfighter.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, physics, data analytics, operations research, or related)
- 5+ years of experience with missile production or the Missile Industrial Base including industry experience producing missiles, components, or sub‐components
- Excellent writing, presentation, and analytical communication skills, with demonstrated experience producing formal reports based on research findings
- Ability to clearly convey complex technical issues to senior stakeholders across Federal agencies
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting OSW, Joint Staff, or Service staff
- Master's degree in a relevant technical or analytical field
- Experience within a DoW missile program office (acquisition, engineering, logistics, or industrial base)
- Experience developing visual or functional models of production chains or industrial processes
- Familiarity with a Service's Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process
- Active Top Secret clearance
