Job Summary
MIS Implementation Specialist sought for a 9-month fixed-term role with Network Turbine Solutions at QantasLink to support the rollout of the Maintenex system. The role involves planning and coordinating maintenance activity, translating operational planning workflows into system processes, supporting implementation, testing and validation, troubleshooting system/process issues, driving process standardisation and efficiency, training users, and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships across planning, operations, supply chain, procurement, quality and IT. Ideal candidates will have 4–5 years in aviation operations planning, exposure to system implementation and digital process improvement, and tertiary qualifications in project management, lean, digital transformation or aviation management will be highly regarded.
Required Qualifications
- Around 4–5 years’ experience in a comparable role within the aviation industry
- Experience in production planning, maintenance planning or a similar operational planning environment
- Exposure to system implementation, configuration, testing or digital process improvement within an operational setting
- Strong capability in process optimisation, project management and structured documentation
- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
- The ability to work across multiple stakeholder groups and convert business needs into practical system-based solutions
