Job Summary
Conduct infectious disease research in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, with daily duties and expectations defined by the specific hiring laboratory. Perform work related to mycobacteria, retroviruses, prions, and arthropod-borne infectious diseases, as well as the diagnostic investigation of naturally-occurring animal diseases. Submit a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, and unofficial transcripts for consideration in the open pool, with applications due by December 31st, 2026. Reports to a faculty member within the department.
Required Qualifications
- doctoral or equivalent degree in Microbiology, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Veterinary Pathology, Epidemiology or closely related field
