Job Summary
Conduct holistic, evidence-based virtual care for patients aged 18 months and above, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management, counseling, and disposition planning. Deliver education on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, safer sex practices, and contraceptive care while managing medications. Evaluate primary, acute, chronic, and transitional care patients, documenting all interactions within the Epic EHR in compliance with Minute Clinic policies. Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and paraprofessionals within the patient-centered medical home to coordinate care and advocate for patient needs. Maintain independent practice by prioritizing tasks, solving problems, and upholding patient privacy while meeting a minimum of 9 hours of availability per week, including every third weekend. Requires current licensure in MS, TN, or TX with a Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner.
Required Qualifications
- current, unrestricted license in MS, TN, or TX
- willing and able to obtain additional licensure
- minimum of 9 hours of availability per week including every third weekend
- minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
- Completion of a Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program
- current National Board Certification
- State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously
