Job Summary
Casual hourly Minor Official for SAIT Athletics and Recreation to support Trojan athletic events. Responsibilities include spectator engagement, ticketing/admissions, ambiance (music, lights, video), home-game statistics and scorekeeping, game film and website interfaces, sport broadcasting and production logistics, promotions and social media content, front-of-house operations, and assist with setup/takedown of facilities. Roles also cover special functions such as broadcasting crew, esports shout casting, content creation, and coordination of pre-participation training and certifications. The position entails front-line customer service, event coordination, and on-site presence, with opportunities for involvement across SAIT’s digital channels and game-day experiences. Qualifications include completion of Grade 12, participation in sports, and prior customer service experience; First Aid and CPR certification and Respect in Sport are assets. Ability to travel within Calgary and availability to work evenings and weekends are required.
