Job Summary
Serve international students by starting Bible discussion groups, hosting events, and mentoring at least one student. Register and maintain IFI as a recognized student organization while building relationships with campus staff and local churches. Establish partnerships with local churches to mobilize volunteers and develop financial and prayer partnerships by sharing the ministry's vision. Live near the serving campus to facilitate these activities. Occasional evenings and weekends are required for specific events, with attendance at several conferences annually. Full- or part-time flexible schedules are available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree (or higher) in education and/or ministry-related field or demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people
- Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
- Is faithful, loyal and dedicated to IFI's mandate from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel
- Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently
- Be a self-starter, able to work independently, as well as a team player
- Ability to work under stress and be flexible
- Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Requires the development of a ministry partner team which supplies the necessary prayer and financial support to cover salary, benefits, and ministry expenses
- This position is part of the Philadelphia ministry team and requires the candidate to live near the campus on which they will be serving
