Job Summary
Establish a ministry presence in Boston by building relationships with university staff, church partners, and volunteers to lead location efforts. Mobilize others to host Bible discussion groups and organize cultural events while ensuring IFI is recognized as a student organization. Secure necessary financial and prayer support from a developed team of ministry partners. Work flexible full- or part-time hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and annual conferences, with eligibility for paid time off and health benefits. Live near the campus to serve over 50,000 international students across 28 Boston area campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Adherence to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
- Is faithful, loyal and dedicated to IFI's mandate from the Lord to extend God's love globally through equipping Christians to be effective cross-cultural communicators of the Gospel
- Well organized with attention to detail and ability to complete tasks independently
- Be a self-starter, able to work independently, as well as a team player
- Ability to work under stress and be flexible
- Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications
- Bachelor degree (or higher) in education and/or ministry-related field or demonstrated experience mobilizing, training, and ministering to people
- Must be able to live near the campus on which they will be serving
