Job Summary
Plan and deliver competency-based ministry training while supporting student progress and mentoring emerging leaders. Actively participate in camps by attending and leading sessions alongside the CRU team. Provide pastoral care and counsel within a professional ministry context, managing and mentoring staff or volunteers. Apply experience working with school-aged children through outdoor activities and youth ministries. Maintain a mature Christian faith and full agreement with CRU's Statement of Belief. Submit a valid Working with Children Check prior to employment.
Required Qualifications
- A mature and consistent Christian faith, with active involvement in a Christian church committed to sound biblical teaching, demonstrating a commitment to Christian ministry and service
- Full agreement with CRU's Statement of Belief
- A commitment to and belief in the value of camping as an environment for evangelism, pastoral care and developing leaders
- Experience managing and/or mentoring staff or volunteers, together with experience providing pastoral care or counsel in a professional or volunteer ministry context
- Experience working with school-aged children and young people, including through camps, children's or youth ministries, games, sports and/or outdoor activities
- Previous experience in a similar role within ministry, education, or training and assessment
- Qualifications in ministry, theology, training and assessment, education or a related field
- Valid Working with Children Check number for paid employment
