Job Summary
Partner with mining operations stakeholders to gather requirements, document business and technical specifications, and facilitate workshops across mine planning, fleet management, and maintenance workflows. Analyze operational processes to identify automation opportunities, conduct gap analyses for ERP and SCADA systems, and support Agile project delivery including UAT and change management. Develop reporting requirements, KPIs, and dashboards using SQL and Power BI to ensure data accuracy and visibility. Act as a liaison between engineering, IT, and operational leadership to align on technology solutions that enhance safety, reliability, and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Mining Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience
- 3+ years supporting mining, heavy industrial, energy, or natural resources operations
- Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis experience
- Experience working directly with operations stakeholders
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in open-pit or underground mining operations
- Knowledge of mining production and maintenance processes
- Experience with fleet management and dispatch systems
- Familiarity with operational technology (OT) environments
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives
- Lean Six Sigma certification
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar business analysis certification
