Job Summary
Mining Forecast Analyst responsible for developing, analyzing, and communicating forecasts across Sales to Users, Dealer Inventory, Commercial Shipments, and Industry demand. Leverages economic insight, statistical methodologies, and data analytics tools to build forecasting models, monitor market trends in Mining, Quarrying, and Resource Industries, and translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership. Uses Power BI, Excel, and data platforms to create reports and visualizations, deliver presentations, and support ad hoc forecasting requests. Collaboration with business stakeholders to align forecasts with strategic plans (S&OP, LTF, ABP) and inform decision-making; strong emphasis on communication of insights to leadership and cross-functional teams. Education requirement includes a Master’s degree; experience with statistical forecasting, S&OP, and visualization tools is highlighted, along with exposure to mining/industrial markets.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field
