Job Summary
Assist clients with on-site production engineering, short to medium term planning, and scheduling requirements. Complete development designs, stope design optimization, and drill and blast planning work remotely. Implement systems and processes across mining operations while supporting senior consultants with technical department optimizations. Requires a bachelor's degree in mining engineering, demonstrated experience with Deswik and CAD packages, and strong communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in mining engineering
- Demonstrated understanding of mine planning, scheduling and production
- Strong understanding of Drill & Blast, mine planning concepts and operational performance of underground mines
- Demonstrated experience with mine design software (Deswik, CAD packages, Drill & Blast scheduler etc)
- A strong commitment to quality and safety in the workplace
- Great communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Must complete a full medical
- Must complete a national police clearance
