Job Summary
Mining Engineer/Consultant at Royal IHC Mining leads and conducts mining studies from concept to operation, develops mine plans and designs using industry-standard software, provides on-site client support to optimize operations, and collaborates with internal teams, external consultants, and suppliers to deliver tailored wet-mining solutions. The role involves visiting active mining sites, contributing to continuous improvement of mining methodologies and technologies, and coordinating with international clients and partners. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering (or related field), 10-15 years of relevant experience, proficiency in mine planning/design software (e.g., Datamine), knowledge of dredging technologies is a plus, excellent English communication, a proactive, collaborative mindset, and willingness to travel internationally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or a related field
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in mining operations or project development
- Proficient in mine planning and design software (e.g., Datamine or similar)
- Knowledge of dredging processes and technologies is a strong plus
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to travel internationally for short assignments
