Job Summary
The Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) Program Manager coordinates development, content, administration, and control of Allegiant’s MEL, CDL, and NEF programs, ensuring compliance with FAA and CFR requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining MEL/CDL/NEF items, developing and revising the program, coordinating FAA submissions and revisions, coordinating with FAA and OEMs for MMEL proposals, collaborating with Maintenance Control and other departments, providing 24/7 support and technical knowledge, and updating documentation with regulatory and company changes. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree, 10 years of related experience, FAA/MMEL knowledge, and ability to translate technical data into regulatory formats.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Ten (10) years of experience in a related field
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Knowledge of MMEL regulations and advisory material
- Experience with Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL), Configuration Deviation Lists (CDL), Non-essential Equipment and Furnishings (NEF)
- Ability to translate aircraft technical data into regulatory format
