Job Summary
Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon needed to join Hackensack Meridian Health's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hackensack University Medical Center. Responsibilities include performing gynecologic surgeries (ovarian cystectomies, myomectomies, hysterectomies, endometriosis excision), utilizing advanced imaging techniques for diagnosis and treatment, providing intraoperative consultation, and referring for medical management of chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis. The role offers mentorship, opportunities to work with the da Vinci Surgical System, potential faculty appointment with the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, and proximity to NYC and the Jersey Shore. Candidates should be board certified/eligible in OB/GYN, have or be eligible for NJ medical licensure, and ideally have fellowship training in MIGS with relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery is highly preferred
- Certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology is a significant asset
- Must have or be eligible for a New Jersey Medical License
- Excellent clinical and communication skills with a commitment to outstanding patient care
