Job Summary
Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon sought to join Hackensack Meridian Health’s Obstetrics and Gynecology department. Responsibilities include performing gynecologic surgeries (ovarian cystectomies, myomectomies, hysterectomies, endometriosis excision), utilizing advanced imaging for diagnosis and treatment of complex cases, providing intraoperative consultation, and referring for medical management of chronic pelvic pain related conditions. Opportunities include mentorship, involvement with da Vinci Surgical Systems, potential faculty appointment at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, and working close to NYC and the Jersey Shore. Requires MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN, MIS-GYN fellowship preferred, ABOG MIS certification a plus, NJ medical license eligibility, and strong patient-care/communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery is highly preferred
- Certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology is a significant asset
- Must have or be eligible for a New Jersey Medical License
- Excellent clinical and communication skills with a commitment to outstanding patient care
