Job Summary
Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) sought at Hackensack Meridian Health/Hackensack University Medical Center. Responsibilities include gynecological surgeries such as ovarian cystectomies, myomectomies, hysterectomies and endometriosis excision, use of advanced imaging to diagnose and treat complex cases, providing intraoperative consultation, and referrals for medical management of chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, and large fibroids. The role offers opportunities for mentorship, research, and career development, work with da Vinci Surgical Systems, potential faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine, and proximity to NYC and the Jersey Shore. Required qualifications include an MD/DO, board certification or eligibility in OB-GYN, fellowship in MIGS preferred, MIGS certification as an asset, NJ medical license eligibility, and strong clinical/communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery is highly preferred
- Certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology is a significant asset
- Must have or be eligible for a New Jersey Medical License
- Excellent clinical and communication skills with a commitment to outstanding patient care
