Job Summary
Board-certified/board-eligible Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon sought to join Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, NJ. Responsibilities include gynecologic surgeries (ovarian cystectomies, myomectomies, hysterectomies, endometriosis excision), utilizing advanced imaging to diagnose and treat complex cases, providing intraoperative consultation, and referrals for medical management of chronic pelvic pain/endometriosis/large fibroids. Highlights include mentorship opportunities, work with da Vinci Surgical Systems, potential faculty appointment, and proximity to NYC and the Jersey Shore. Requires MD/DO, OB/GYN board eligibility/certification, NJ medical license eligibility, and strong clinical/communication skills; MIGS fellowship preferred and ABOG MIGS certification is an asset. Compensation includes a minimum base salary of $289,108, with comprehensive benefits; final package discussed during interview. The role is a full-time, on-site position in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
- Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery highly preferred
- Certification in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery by ABOG is a significant asset
- Must have or be eligible for a New Jersey Medical License
- Excellent clinical and communication skills with a commitment to outstanding patient care
