Job Summary
Full-time fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon to join Weill Cornell Medicine's Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology as Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology. Responsibilities include surgical and non-surgical consultations for complex gynecologic disorders (endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic pain), basic to advanced surgical procedures in outpatient and inpatient settings, participation in shared L&D catastrophe call pools, clinical/didactic/simulation training for residents and medical students, mentorship of fellows, contribution to quality improvement and departmental research, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of obstetricians, urogynecologists, maternal-fetal medicine providers, gynecologic oncologists, and mental health providers. The provider will be part of a Labor and Delivery backup team and may have other related duties as assigned. Salary is commensurate with qualifications, with relocation assistance, benefits, and professional development opportunities as part of a competitive compensation package.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD)
- Completion of ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program
- Board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology
- Completion of AAGL-accredited fellowship in Complex Benign Gynecology/Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery
- Valid New York State Medical License and DEA license (or ability to obtain)
