Job Summary
Maintain and repair polyethylene blown film extrusion lines, conveying and winding equipment, multi-lane bag machines, and Auto Pak systems. Perform preventative maintenance on extruders and bag machines, overhaul born binders mechanically and electrically, and troubleshoot resin systems. Switch process air, change winder linear bearings, and repair rail car unloader equipment. Fabricate guards from ABS, Lexan, and other materials. Requires CPR training, fire pump knowledge, and ability to lift Autopak and winder units. Work includes 12-hour shifts, weekends, and rotating day/night schedules. Minimum one year mechanical or electrical experience with high school diploma preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year's mechanical and/or electrical experience maintaining industrial equipment
- Ability to work shift work, weekends and 12-hour shifts (day and night)
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance
