Minibus Driver - Grovetown

Job Summary
Drive the minibus safely according to YMCA policies, state laws, and school bus endorsements while transporting program participants to and from sites. Maintain the vehicle in an orderly, clean condition by performing daily cleaning, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, and recording gas levels, mileage, and maintenance on designated forms. Announce bus rules before each departure, keep first aid supplies fully stocked, and develop positive relationships with staff, volunteers, parents, and children. Work Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This role supports the Y's mission of strengthening community through youth development and healthy living.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver's license
- Clear criminal background check to include a clean Motor Vehicle Report
- 2 Years Driving experience
- 21 years of age
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
Desired Qualifications
- CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements
