Job Summary
Operate mini excavators, skid steers, and related attachments to excavate, backfill, and grade to required elevations in confined and congested work areas. Assist with underground utility installation, service trenching, hand-exposure work, and material movement while loading trucks. Perform daily equipment inspections, report deficiencies, and follow all safety procedures to maintain productive and safe job sites. Work closely with gradepersons, labourers, and foremen in tight quarters on commercial and civil sites. Full-time employment with immediate start available for experienced operators in a supportive environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating mini excavators and skid steers in civil or commercial construction
- Knowledge of trench safety and excavation practices
- Ability to work accurately around existing utilities, structures, and in tight access areas
- Comfortable operating a range of attachments (buckets, breakers, augers, grapples, brooms)
- Ability to load trucks safely and efficiently
- Valid driver's licence, Class 5 minimum
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and safety-focused
