Job Summary
Mineral Title Agent with 5+ years of mineral title experience will support title research across energy and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include conducting mineral title research using county records and online databases, reviewing deeds, leases, assignments, probate records, liens, and encumbrances, preparing mineral ownership reports and title runsheets, identifying title defects, and recommending curative solutions. Must have strong understanding of mineral ownership, chain of title, curative, and legal land descriptions, and be able to manage multiple high-volume projects while delivering accurate results. Texas experience and proficiency with title research databases and county records are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of mineral title experience (energy sector strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of mineral ownership, chain of title, curative, and legal land descriptions
- Experience preparing title reports
- Familiarity with county record systems and title research databases
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy
- Experience working title in Texas and other major U.S. oil-producing states
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new computer applications and systems
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
