Job Summary
Conduct business analysis of Canadian Natural and competitor subsurface ownership to manage mineral expiries. Aid negotiators in formulating and implementing business strategies for the acquisition and disposition of subsurface assets. Obtain exposure to the competitive subsurface Landsale process, including posting strategies and historical landsale information. Gain understanding of key functions across Exploration, Exploitation, and Production teams while learning the roles within Negotiations, Acquisitions, and Lease Administration. Work alongside industry-leading professionals to contribute to meaningful projects in the Mineral Land Department.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a business degree program or a related post-secondary education degree program
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with mapping systems and/or land systems
