Job Summary
Experienced underground electrician sought to deliver safe, reliable electrical maintenance across the coal clearance circuit at Moranbah North. You will fault-find, maintain and repair conveyor systems and electrical components (drives, motors, control circuits, protection systems) while supporting production targets in a safety-focused team. Role requires Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent), Queensland Electrical Licence, Standard 11 (Surface & Underground), and EEHA certification. Domestic relocation assistance to Moranbah township; residential, FIFO and DIDO options available. Permanent, full-time role with 9-day fortnight option; competitive salary plus 12% superannuation and annual bonus. Background checks apply. The position emphasizes safety, compliance with site procedures, and continuous improvement within an underground coal mining environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (or equivalent)
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence
- Current Standard 11 (Surface & Underground)
- EEHA certification
- Demonstrated experience with conveyor systems and coal clearance infrastructure is highly regarded
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an underground coal mining environment
