Job Summary
Lead safe underground production as Mine Superintendent, overseeing ventilation, ground control, stope design and sequencing, long-term planning, and resource optimization. Manage underground infrastructure, budgets, labor, materials and equipment while supporting digital tools and KPIs related to production, safety, and cost performance. Act as liaison with regulatory bodies, oversee corrective actions, and contribute to emergency preparedness and mine rescue planning. Provide leadership, coaching, and training to supervisors and frontline staff; promote environmental stewardship and maintain positive labor relations in alignment with the collective agreement. Role combines office-based planning with on-site fieldwork in an underground mine environment and requires PPE and ability to work in variable conditions.
