Job Summary
Mine Operator - Open Pit role based in Otago, NZ, operating large mining vehicles in an open pit as part of a shift crew on a 7-on/7-off, 12-hour roster. Responsibilities include pre-start and shut-down checks, loading and transporting rock to the processing plant, housekeeping of vehicles/loading area, and strong communication with mine workers and contractors. Requires unrestricted New Zealand work rights/visa, a full clean driver’s license with experience driving a manual vehicle, safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Residential role with on-site support and benefits; in-person remote option; 7 on 7 off night and day cycles.
