Mine IT Systems Administrator

IT Administrator to support and maintain site infrastructure, servers, virtualization platforms, network environments, and core enterprise technologies at the Rochester Mine. Responsibilities span infrastructure administration and end-user support, serving as escalation point for Helpdesk/IT Technicians, and collaborating with senior IT and OT personnel to ensure stable, secure technology services across the site. Key duties include Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, file services), Microsoft 365/Intune administration, VMware vSphere virtualization, network troubleshooting (switches, VLANs, routing, wireless), documentation and asset inventories, disaster recovery and business continuity participation, cybersecurity and patch management, vendor coordination, and on-site/remote support for office, plant, shop, and mining operations. Requires strong troubleshooting, customer-focused communication, ability to work independently or in a team, and capability to operate in industrial/mining environments with adherence to safety and MSHA policies. Preferred qualifications include IT certifications and experience with OT environments, PowerShell scripting, and relevant virtualization/storage knowledge.
