Job Summary
Produce geological sections, plans, and long sections with interpreted mapping of deposits. Develop and maintain geology wireframes, map mining benches, and generate mineable shapes to communicate extraction plans. Supervise mark-outs, ore extraction, and movements to maximize recovery. Log RC grade control holes and design drill programs to define lodes. Ensure timely data entry and reconciliation for reporting. Mentor geology technicians and identify mineral resources. This 8/6 FIFO roster flies from Perth to Leonora. Genesis Minerals is an ASX-listed gold company focused on the Leonora District.
Required Qualifications
- Qualification in Geology
- Driver's license (C Class, manual car)
- Experience in open pit gold mining
- Well-rounded technical and geology software skills
