Job Summary
Mine Engineer leads mine planning initiatives including pit development, haulage-route optimization, water management, and geotechnical analysis; serves as technical lead for mine planning, roadblocks, dewatering, and dust control; coordinates surveying, field data collection, and vendor/contractor support; supports project design, layout development, and field implementation; tracks progress and documentation for site stakeholders; works in a full-time salaried role split between office and field, with regular travel between company sites; requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mining or Civil Engineering, CAD proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and relevant mine design/operations experience; FAA Remote Pilot Certificate may be preferred or obtained.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering
- 2-5 years of mine design/operations experience preferred
- Proficient in CAD software
- Commitment to a safe work environment with zero injuries or accidents
- Willing to work in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred (or ability to obtain certification)
