Mine Crush/Convey Diagnostic Mechanic I - Henderson Mine - Empire, CO

Diagnostically skilled mechanic for underground crush and convey system at the Henderson mine and mill. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic, maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment and processes in the underground crushing and conveying system; maintenance repairs on crushers and belt systems (overhauls, liner changes, pulley and belt work, filtration, pumps, air handling, dust collection, feeders, chutes, pneumatics, drives); preventive maintenance (filters, hydraulic systems, oil levels); overhauls on crushers, gear reduction, and motor replacements; prioritize repair decisions; maintain work orders and inspections; train and mentor other employees; welding and fabrication (Stick, Mig, Oxy-acetylene, advanced fabrication); act as Fill-in Supervisor as needed; operate mobile equipment (forklifts, tractors, cranes) as required; perform other duties; safety sensitive role with protective equipment and potential shift work; housing allowance for on-site employees; on-site at Henderson mine and Empire mill with potential rotating shifts; benefits package offered.
