Job Summary
Troubleshoot mechanical problems, interpret schematics and drawings, and maintain conveyor systems, compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, and pipe systems. Perform welding, soldering, and installation of pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation controls while conducting preventive maintenance programs and keeping records. Operate scissor lifts and Genie booms safely, ensure shop equipment remains clean and secure, and adhere to safety and environmental regulations. Work 12-hour rotating continental shifts with shift premiums and additional incentives at $48.60/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Valid industrial mechanic/millwright certificate
- Minimum of 7 years' experience
- Knowledge of calipers and other measuring devices
- Computer skills using MS Office products
- Ability to read prints
- Ability to work safely at heights
- Must be able to work Continental Shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience operating scissor lifts and Genie booms
