Job Summary
Follow instructions from Project Managers and enforce all safety standards while moving, securing, installing, building, loading, and unloading materials, tools, and equipment. Perform welding and fabrication for plant equipment, chutes, and crushers; repair and install mechanical parts by reading schematics, blueprints, and instruction manuals. Stick weld, use oxy/act torches safely, and apply oils and greases per specification. Direct on-site cleaning and prepare job sites, assisting crew members as needed to meet manpower requirements. Maintain a valid driver's license, clean MVR, and pass background and drug testing. Travel weekly to various locations for full-time work in the coal, gas, and oil industries.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
- Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required
- Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must have Industrial, Steel, Iron works experience
- Must have project management/ supervisory experience
- Must have a clean MVR and ability to maintain a valid drivers license
- Must be able to travel each week to various locations
Desired Qualifications
- MSHA Surface and Underground certifications a plus
