Job Summary
Follow instructions from Project Managers while maintaining and enforcing all safety standards. Move, secure, install, build, load, and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Perform welding and fabrication for repairs and installation of plant equipment, chutes, and crushers. Properly repair and install mechanical parts, read schematics and blueprints for equipment repairs, and stick weld using Oxy/Ac torches safely. Direct on-site cleaning and prepare job sites. Assist crew members as needed and apply oils and greases according to specifications. This full-time travel position requires weekly travel to various locations and the ability to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must possess industrial, steel, or iron works experience with project management and supervisory skills, hold a valid driver's license with a clean MVR, and pass background and drug testing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to routinely climb stairs, ladders and/or platforms, bend and squat
- Ability to walk, stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to consistently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Able to work any shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays required
- Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required
- Ability to read blueprints
- Must have Industrial, Steel, Iron works experience
- Must have project management/ supervisory experience
- Must have a clean MVR and ability to maintain a valid drivers license
- Must be able to travel each week to various locations
Desired Qualifications
- MSHA Surface and Underground certifications a plus
