Job Summary
Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment while performing preventive maintenance inspections and routine equipment checks. Support facility repairs and provide technical assistance to operations teams, following established maintenance schedules, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in safety inspections and continuous improvement initiatives, and complete basic fabrication and repair work using welding and plasma-cutting equipment. Read and interpret schematic drawings, equipment diagrams, building plans, and blueprints to complete maintenance activities safely.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) certification with Interprovincial Red Seal endorsement
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an industrial environment or a related service industry
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, including grain handling and cleaning equipment
- Experience with welding, rigging, and the operation of mobile equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings, equipment diagrams, building plans, and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
