Job Summary
Millwright responsible for repairs, maintenance and installation of grain equipment under the direction of the Operations & Construction Manager. Duties include installing, repairing or replacing defective parts using hand tools and welding equipment; maintaining trucks and needed tools; performing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs; climbing and working from heights; and communicating effectively with internal and external customers. Adherence to safety policies (EHS, OSHA, DOT) is required at all times. Requires knowledge of grain equipment and blueprints/electrical schematics, welding proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years related work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems; ability to read layouts, blueprints and electrical schematics
- Proficient in welding and working with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of grain equipment (grain legs, conveyors, towers, catwalks, grain bins, grain dryers)
