Job Summary
Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications. Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, providing solutions to keep operations running smoothly. Collaborate with the production team to identify and address equipment problems. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed. This role requires a high school diploma, recognized millwright apprenticeship, or equivalent experience, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read technical diagrams. Located in San Antonio, TX, this position supports Taurus Industrial Group's front-end engineering, routine maintenance, and capital projects across the energy sector.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
