Job Summary
Millwright in Simcoe, ON responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting automation, robotics and PLCs; diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components; interpret schematic drawings, manuals, and logic diagrams; repair or replace defective parts, lubricate and clean machine parts per PM procedures; select lifting equipment; ensure OHSA safety devices and guarding; practice safe work procedures; use PPE with lockout/isolation; understand environmental impacts; rotate through 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM); Certificate of Qualification – 443A required; on-site tools provided; PPE provided; shift premiums and various benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate of Qualification – 443A
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of stamping and robotic equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC’s
- Good hand-eye coordination with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
