Job Summary
Maintain the facility by repairing, updating, or replacing industrial equipment and infrastructure as needed. Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, forklifts, and other mobile machinery while diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues throughout the site. Complete repairs on building systems including lighting, plumbing, doors, and electrical switches, and address projects ranging from minor fixes to infrastructure improvements like parking lot re-striping. Respond proactively to maintenance requests and unexpected failures to minimize downtime, working with production and management to prioritize tasks. Maintain detailed records and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of facilities maintenance experience
- Experience performing preventative maintenance on machinery and mobile equipment such as forklifts and Hysters
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and sense of ownership
- Excellent attendance and reliability
