Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment while performing preventative maintenance on process and packaging machinery. Conduct routine electrical and mechanical problem solving, align parts using specialized tools, and disassemble or reassemble components as needed. Adhere strictly to safety policies including Lock-out/Tag-out and confined space procedures. Communicate effectively with operators, peers, and management to support assigned duties. Requires hands-on experience with machinery, ability to lift up to 30lbs occasionally, and a high school diploma or GED. Competitive hourly pay up to $39.95, shift premiums, and weekly incentives available.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role
- Hands-on experience with equipment and machinery
- Strong communication and computational skills
- An eye for detail
- Team spirit
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous machine operation, material handling, production or other warehouse related experience
- Basic math, measurement, computer skills, and ability to follow directions
- NMP employees must be able to repeatedly lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift up to 30lbs as needed
- Ability to follow all safety and health regulations
