Job Summary

Valve Repair Technician responsible for repair, assembly, calibration, and diagnostics of valves, actuators, and related instruments. Work at authorized repair facilities and customer locations with duties including pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, in-process inspection, machining, lapping, surface preparation, painting, assembly, testing, and final inspection; calibration and testing of valves and process instrumentation; documentation of repairs and actions; customer communication and troubleshooting; adherence to safety, quality, and company rules; and participation in Safety/Quality committees. Opportunities for overtime based on demand; long-term career growth and training provided; requires ability to work off-hours and travel as needed. Requires excellent communication, teamwork, mechanical/technical skills, and the ability to operate repair equipment (cranes, forklifts, etc.). Location noted as Charlotte, NC, USA.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years of valve-related experience or nuclear/regulated industry experience
  • Basic computer skills
