Job Summary
Millwright Maintenance Technician responsible for safely maintaining a complex mechanical facility processing large quantities of flammable materials. Responsibilities include following standard procedures to ensure safety and environmental compliance, recording key measurements to analyze failures and drive improvements, troubleshooting issues with rotating equipment, removal and installation of equipment with precise alignment and testing, and collaborating in a team to maintain plant availability. Skills emphasized include reading drawings and P&IDs, precision assembly of gearboxes and rotating machinery, and applying safety and quality standards in an industrial polymer environment; the role requires 3-5 years of industry experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent, with site locations at INEOS Battleground/La Porte area in Texas.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment, polymer plant preferred
- Ability to interpret drawings, P&ID’s, manuals
- Precision assembly of complex gearboxes, pumps, compressors, blowers, airlocks, centrifuges and specialized extruding equipment
