Job Summary
Perform inspection and repairs on rotating equipment including gearboxes, motors, compressors, pumps, steam turbines, blowers, and fans. Conduct preventative maintenance and annual mechanical integrity inspections on steam turbine trip mechanisms. Troubleshoot rotating equipment with vibration/seal leaks/issues. Read machinery and mechanical seal blueprints. Maintain records for inspections and repairs. Manage emergency callouts and weekly on-call duty. Skills include shop repairs on rotating equipment, alignment methods (Reverse, Rim/Face, Laser), lubrication, and use of precision tools and shop equipment. Familiarity with NCCER or technical certificates preferred; strong communication and MS Office abilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years craft experience in the Petrochemical/refining industry is required.
- High school diploma is required
