Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Millwright responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical systems. Key responsibilities include installing and maintaining machinery, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing mechanical failures, collaborating with team members, and adhering to safety protocols. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Millwright certification or equivalent, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and strong mechanical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Millwright certification or equivalent industrial maintenance training/apprenticeship
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical documents
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to safely operate forklifts, man lifts, and rigging/lifting equipment
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and respond to after-hours maintenance calls as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Welding certification (MIG/TIG/Stick)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or TPM practices
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms (e.g., SAP, MP2, or similar)
