Job Summary
Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Instructor for the Apprenticeship program; tenure-track position; involves teaching/training in a post-secondary setting within Northwestern Polytechnic's School of Skilled Trades Grande Prairie. Requires Journeyperson/Red Seal certification with at least five years of Journeyperson experience. Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook), strong organizational and multitasking abilities, an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships across the organization, and a high level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Required Qualifications
- Journeyperson/Red Seal certification in the related trade
- Minimum of five years of experience as a Journeyperson
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
